And then one day....

Starting a blog is one of those things that was going to happen one day! But as one that despises a 'gunna gunna', I figured it was about time I started sharing my obsessions, passions, travel discoveries and stories with all of you.

If pictures really do tell a thousand words then here is a book's worth of my life captured in many incredible moments.

The ever wondering traveller......

Mexico is still my heart's favourite place in the world, thus far..
I wanted to smuggle* {figure of speech intended} these little chickas back home with me.

New Zealand's south island is truly a place to say you've been, seen, and adored.

Classic 'jetstar jump' across New Zealand's fox glaciers

Top hats, pork knuckles and jugs of beer being smashed together is all apart of the real Oktoberfest experience in Munich, Germany.

The big apple's signature piece of green liberty in the far distance

Ghana, West Africa where I met some of the most amazing people of all time. Above, is the girl-power that laughed, danced, received surprises in donuts and made differences for children and their local community with me. Below is me and my mum & dad (while in Ghana that is), they took me into their home and made my time in Ghana most memorable.

The youth of Ghana, amazing care-free individuals that made the little things special.

Master chef has nothing on me, at least thats what i tell myself......

Incase your wondering, yes all these delicious creations are my own but perhaps its thanks to one or two of Instagram's photo filters that make each one appear that little more yummier. #justsaying.

Buckwheat pancakes topped with fresh mango, berries, walnuts and shaved coconut. And of course, a drizzle of honey. Gotta love that sweet stuff.

So this is life! personally i really love making
my first meal of the day look so pretty, some say what a waste of time. But let me ask you.... if you woke up to this, would you refuse it??
Contents include: bio-dynamic natural yogurt, self-roasted oats, activated almonds, fresh strawberries, figs and again, that drizzle of sweet stuff. YUM.

It's a Moroccan night-in. Quite simple to be fair but the flavours were like an explosion on the mouth. My eyes closed at each bite of grass fed- lamb cutlets dreaming that i was in fact sitting on a picnic blanket in some lane way of Marrakech.

Must admit, love a bit of wok-action. Asian noodles. plenty of greens and other veggie surprises. toppled with toasted sesame seeds. And ta-dah... a meal for 4 under ten bucks (unless of course you have another half like mine that eats for at least 2 people) . Made with love and under 10 minutes. Brilliant.

So i bought a Vitamix! And it quite literally changed my life. Google it. they are amazing! Did i mention i used to be a 'Boostie'? yeah, well the boostie still lives within... and I just so happen to slap together these two smooth-as bad-boys... thanks to frame-maker, i was able to collage the ingredients and final glass of nutritious goodness for you.. With Sydney weather heating up, these smoothies will be happening alot! ......any order requests?

And to wrap things up, below is my very first attempt at home-made muesli bars... I always read about the making of being really easy and minimal fuss (which is totally my style) so I decided to give it a go... The best part(s) of all (other than the taste) is knowing exactly what went in them ... including the love and there was NO baking required. Genius.

And so my fellow lovers of life, I am looking forward to sharing the highs & inevitable lows of my travel discoveries and other things like, my future as a primary teacher, my passion for cooking (not so much for baking, because anything i seem to bake is almost always a failure), my lover, and me just being me. Peace & love. x
